For the 10th time, the annual conference "Doors and Closures in Car Body Engineering” gathered its network of global experts for automotive hang-on parts in Bad Nauheim.  

One of the highlights of the conference was the bestowal of the Systems Award and the Technical Solutions Award: The Doors and Closures Award for the best automotive OEM series hang-on part development and the Technical Solutions Award for most inspiring, industrially realised engineering innovation pertaining to an automotive OEM hang-on part or its production process. Both winners of this Award competitions are determined through the voting of the whole expert audience.  

Promoting ideas for the construction and production of such parts was the goal of this year’s international Automotive Circle conference on Doors and Closures in Car Body Engineering in Bad Nauheim. With hands-on presentations of latest OEM series hang-on-part projects, the discussion of new solutions by importing system suppliers, inspiring impulses about the future of mobility, future door concepts and challenges as well as the chance to inspect a number of recently launches full vehicles, the conference again addressed its network of 190 expert automobile engineers from all over the world.
