EALA - European Automotive Laser Applications 2011
9 - 10 February 2011
Bad Nauheim/Franktfurt, Germany
Plus! EALA-Tutorial (German language only)
Fundamentals of laser use in automotive engineering
8 February 2011
Laser technology caught between possible applications
and technological limits!
Even in crisis year 2010, the annual E A L A, with over 150 international participants, proved to be Europe's leading gathering for developers, process engineers and producers from automotive OEMs and their subcontractors. It was thus the most important forum for swapping information and experiences on lasers as a system tool for all aspects of automotive engineering.
- What more can lasers do?
- Are there any other applications left, and are there any technological limits?
- What do the leading laser-technology developers envision for the future, what do
OEMs want? What would a "Programme for 2020" look like?
- What are current applications capable of doing?
- How can the laser process help boost the profitability of cars?
All these questions and more will feature prominently in the experts' conference in 2011. Once again, the Automotive Circle is convening the EALA International Conference, the world's leading network of car body engineers, in Frankfurt/Bad Nauheim, to define the state of the art and discuss the future of lasers in automotive construction.
Key points of the 2011 Conference
- Advances in the overall laser process
- Spotlight on new materials
- Current status in laser-remote processes and peripherals
- Smart lasering - Latest developments in radiation sources
- Examples from OEM laser production beyond the car body
- Presentations of current OEM projects
The EALA conference addresses:
- Development, process planning and production managers
- R & D managers
- Engineers in positions of responsibility
involved in the laser-technology process chain at automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
INTERACTIVE
Extra benefits!
- OEMs will be unveiling their latest and their future projects
- Participate anonymously in our interactive polls via automated vote system and be part of the range of opinions of the conference!
- Take an active part in the new topic tables and bring in your point of view regarding the topics of selected speakers!
EALA-Tutorial (German language only)
Additional to the EALA conference, the EALA tutorial "Fundamentals of laser use in automotive engineering" provides newcomers who subsequently attend the EALA conference itself with the theoretical and practical fundamentals of laser use in automotive engineering.
The tutorial is aimed at:
- Persons overseeing development, process planning and production who require
a basic overview of "Laser usage in the automotive industry"
- Recently qualified engineers with little practical experience
- Technical personnel at OEM and suppliers engaged in the laser technology
process chain, who need more information on lasers because they have been assigned new tasks
