The automotive industry is in the midst of a transformation. Automobile manufacturers are occupying themselves with finding solutions for alternative powertrains, new concepts and suitable energy storage systems. What are the corresponding car body concepts like? How is the battery integrated? How important is lightweight design? Which materials are used in the car bodies and how can sophisticated designs be achieved?

At Porsche, engineers have worked extensively on these and other challenges. The results of this work have already been presented to the world: Porsche launched its first all-electric sports car, the Taycan. The car body consists of an intensive mix of materials with a high percentage of aluminium and hot-formed steels. For the outer skin, Porsche relies on forming technology with the highest demands and achieves deep drawing depths of over 300 mm.

The aluminium housing of the underfloor battery is an integral part of the vehicle structure. The integration of the new Taycan production line was completed during ongoing production in the already established structure of the Zuffenhausen plant.

The conference offers the opportunity to learn more about new Taycan and its technologies. Discuss current developments and projects with experts from Porsche and other OEM. A special highlight of the conference is the guided tour, which offers participants insights into the production of the Taycan.

As the conditions adapt very quickly to the current pandemic situation, we will inform you about the current regulations approximately 2 - 4 weeks before the conference in detail.

Please note: Depending on the current Covid-19 regulations, you may have to present a negative antigen test, vaccination certificate or proof of recovery when you check in for the conference or at the hotel. Social distancing
Important: Please observe a social distancing of 1.5 m between people in all areas. We will ensure that your participation in the conference is safe - from the individual planning of the entrance situation and the enlargement of areas to optimised entrance and exit management for the conference area. For example, we have adjusted the seating accordingly. Floor markings, and notices also serve as reminders to observe social distancing guidelines.


Face coverings
In general, all people are required to wear masks (FFP2 or surgical mask) in the interior spaces of the venue. Once seated in the conference room or during lunch breaks, the mask may be removed. In outdoor areas, it is mandatory to wear masks whenever minimum social distancing measures cannot be maintained. Please always carry a mask with you. If you forget or lose your mask, a supply of masks is available at the registration counter.

Please note that the regulations regarding the obligation to wear masks are continuously adapted to the current legal requirements. Therefore, please inform yourself about the current regulations promptly before the start of the event. We will continuously check whether and to what extent it is necessary to wear a face covering.

We strongly recommend frequent and thorough hand washing. Hand washing and disinfection facilities designed with social distancing in mind are available for you.


Sneezing and coughing
We kindly ask you to follow the usual etiquette regarding sneezing and coughing.


Desinfection and cleaning
For your safety, we will regularly clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces (e.g. tables, handrails, door handles) as well as our sanitary facilities at more frequent intervals. You will find hand washing and disinfection facilities designed with social distancing in mind at all important places at the conference area.


Make your visit only if you are in good health. If you have been in contact with anyone infected with SARS-CoV-2 within the past 14 days or if you have symptoms of a respiratory tract infection or have an elevated temperature, this will unfortunately preclude you from attending the conference. If you feel unwell during the conference, please contact us or your hotel reception immediately by phone or email. We will then be happy to help you.


Together with the conference venue, we have drawn up a comprehensive concept of catering during the conference that at least meets the legal requirements of the current situation.

Conference fee includes
Fees including full conference participation, incl. guided tour, conference materials, list of delegates, the authority for downloading the presentation on the internet, luncheons, catering and the participation in the evening networking event.

Conference Language
The conference will be translated simultaneously into English and German. Please note that the contents of lecturers and presentations at simultaneously interpreted conferences are predominantly composed in the English language.

Fees will be refunded in full if notice of cancellation is received by November 1, 2021. 50 % of the conference fees will be refunded in case notification of cancellation is received later, but not later than November 15, 2021. Delegates who fail to attend without notifying the organizer will be liable for the whole conference fees. Substitutions of delegates may be made at any time.

Cancellations and changes must be made in writing and will be confirmed by the organizer. Cancellations due to health reasons can be cancelled free of charge at any time with a medical certificate. If a participant is demonstrably unable to attend due to travel restrictions, he/she has the option of converting the attendance participation into a digital participation (if this is offered). Any cost differences will be reimbursed.

The participant undertakes to follow the instructions of the organizer and the venue. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the event.

The organizer reserves the right to change the program or to cancel the conference in the event of special circumstances (important reason). In particular, the organizer is entitled to take such measures in cases of force majeure, due to official orders, in the event of a situation endangering the life, body or health of the participants. In these cases, the organizer shall not be obliged to pay damages and/or reimbursement of expenses to the participants. This applies in particular to any cancellation fees incurred by third parties (e.g. hotel bookings, train or flight tickets).

Data Protection
As participant of an event, you agree that data such as company, address (zip code, city, country), first name, name and job function of the attendee will be published on the list of participants. The list of participants is available to all participants of the event in printed. The list of participants could also be used by sponsors and exhibitors for advertising purposes. Objection against publication and circulation of your data may be made at any time until 3 weeks prior to the event and has to be made in writing to the organizer. The address data are processed for customer service and information purposes in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Company’s name, city and country might be published on the Internet as reference for upcoming Automotive Circle conferences. Personal data will be forwarded to the local health authority on request.

With your binding registration you agree that film, image, word and sound recordings may be made of you during the event. These recordings may be used without restriction by Vincentz Network or authorized parties in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
