6. - 28. Oct 2021 | Virtual Conference

EuroCarBody

23rd Global Car Body Benchmarking Conference

The development highlights of the year!
This year's edition offers a virtual conference series for defining and discussing the state of the art in modern series car body engineering. On October 6-19, Automotive Circle presents one development highlight of the year within 1,5 hours.

10 newest series car bodies, representing the current model year, will be explained to the industry specialists by OEM engineers directly involved in their planning and realisation. Development, material and production concepts of the car bodies will be introduced in detail virtually.

Look forward to these car body presentations:

BMW iX
The premiere of BMW’s fully electric executive-size SUV, the company’s largest BEV so far.

Chevrolet Corvette
The C8, eighth generation of GM’s iconic sportscar, features a completely new design, with an all-new aluminium body architecture.

Ford Bronco
Another iconic vehicle: Ford’s rebirth, after 25 years, of its mid- to full size off-roader.

Nissan Qashqai
The third generation of Nissan’s important compact SUV, built as a mild hybrid on the Group’s CMF-C platform.

Opel Mokka/ Mokka e
Opel’s new compact SUV in its second generation, built both as a BEV and ICE using the PSA/Stellantis CMP architecture and initiating the brand’s new design language.

Peugeot 308
The third generation of PSA’s compact car, offering ICE or PHEV drives, represents the third major evolution of the company’s EMP2 platform.

Range Rover
Yet another icon: The brand-new fifth generation of JLR’s brand-building, full-size SUV, featured at EuroCarBody for the second time after 2012.

Rivian R1T
First vehicle launched by the brand and a EuroCarBody premiere: Rivian’s battery-electric pick-up, built on a skateboard architecture and designed with shared and autonomous driving applications in mind.

Zeekr 001
First model of Geely’s new fully electric brand: A Shooting Brake vehicle based on the company’s Sustainable Experience Architecture.

Aluminium Top Hat based on Audi e-tron BIW
EuroCarBody 2021’s kick-off presentation has the Alumobility association present their ideas for an Al-based light-weight car body, modifying the current Audi e-tron as their example.

What does EuroCarBody virtual look like?
The virtual edition includes ten live conference days, each with one OEM presentation. All OEM speaker teams will highlight one or two particularly challenging technological achievements, product- or process-related, sharing their experiences with the implementation of these technologies.  Results presented will then be discussed with the speakers during the virtual Q&A.

Highlight of the event: All car bodies will be shown virtually.

We are looking forward to meeting you in our virtual environment!

A special application procedure applies for participating in EuroCarBody virtual 2021 as the number of participants is limited due to the capacity of the livestreaming platform:

The application is preferably done via the event's website, alternatively by e-mail or regular mail.  Applicants will not get access on a 'first come, first serve' base. Instead all applications will be collected in a pool until August 31, 2021. Applicants will be informed until September 6, 2021 at the latest about their participation.

After August 31, applications for participation are still possible, but tickets will only be granted on a waiting list basis. After receiving your application, we will inform you within a week if your application has been accepted.

Upon receipt of the official confirmation of participation and invoice by email, the participation is guaranteed. Without this confirmation, there is no claim to participate in EuroCarBody virtual 2021. The corresponding access data for the virtual event will be sent to the participant a few days prior the event. The prerequisite for this is that all payments have been received in full.
